The greatest stories ever written and told always involve transformation. That’s because whether we like it or not, to keep living means to keep changing.
Transformation is something that happens over and over again throughout our lives. In spite of how things look online or at surface level, transformation doesn’t look the same for everyone. It doesn’t happen in any particular order, either.
For my 45th year on earth, I’m holding a series of virtual fireside chats dedicated to you, fellow creatives: writers, artists, musicians, dance and movement creators, filmmakers. I know most of us question our path in life the moment we realized there’s nothing else we would rather be doing. That our lives mean something to us in ways that don’t fit in the normalized transaction-focused systems we live in.
Using personal stories, the discussion will reframe the narrative of “finding direction” into “embracing transformation” instead. There is no one True North for how life unfolds, and many of us get tripped up because we feel like we’re failing a standard that never existed in the first place.
When we learn how to notice and discern our own stories, we start to own our transformations, creating purpose and meaning in our lives.
Register here for tomorrow’s 6pm fireside chat. It will be recorded, so if you can’t attend, you’ll still receive the link to the recording.
Stay tuned for the next one!
This notion of Transformation is fascinating to me.
Like a natural force planted in a seed make it grows and flourish
We have this same energy pushing from within,
To become all we can be,
Beyond rationalization or intellectual understanding.
Re-discovering the Meanings we cherish the most through re-visiting our stories is a powerful exercise that I'm willing to undertake; Thanks for the insight.
Your dedication to authenticity is palpable Neva, may you have a wonderful birthday.
